Objectives

Side Objective 1

There have been reports from our scouting team that there have been movements from the military. Sightings include the delivery of cargo containers at a port towards the south, and armor alongside many infantry. We expect them to run a convoy alongside the west side of the island, towards the northern military base.

Chance of obtaining military equipment.
Possibility of disguising as military personnel if damages to vehicles are kept low.

Objective 1

The National Police force has received support from unknown suppliers, with equipment of old hand-me-down NATO variety. Assault the police storage compound containing supplies.
DO NOT USE EXPLOSIVES

It is defended quite heavily.
Civilians in the area, be cautious of fire.
If you harm civilians, the public opinion of Skyburger may go down.

Side Objective 2

Assault on a Military compound to destroy a communications tower, thus disrupting all radio and cell communications with the outside world.

Must be destroyed soon after first contact (shots/kill), else a radio distress will be sent, increasing difficulty in future ops.
The consequences are big if this attack fails.

Briefing

Our group HQ lies upon an island off the east coast of Africa, one of many small subsidiaries from the mainland nation of Baltan. Our goal is to liberate the small subsidiaries to build up supplies and public rapport, thus moving forward to bring down the government. Firstmost, we require more combative supplies. The National Police force has received support from unknown suppliers, with equipment of old hand-me-down NATO variety. Unsurprisingly they’ve been using it to suppress any small militia and rebellion group.

We require those supplies. Our group has no short range, and has limited long range radios for the leaders of each squad. Thus, I have marked an objective on your maps. Objective 1, a guarded police compound containing supplies. We have little information on what sort of weaponry they have, however there has been no sighted AT or explosives being used by the National Police… It seems they’re at least reasonable.

There are multiple checkpoints across the island, manned by members of the National Police. Be wary of bringing those M2 trucks near them, that’ll likely lead to conflict. The National Police aren’t knowledgeable about our group yet, thus leaving the opportunity of scouting before engaging.

Now, I will mention, there is one military outpost which I have marked upon your maps, towards the northern end. They’re stationed around a radio tower, which is important as it allows for contact with external forces apart from the island. I’ve marked it on your maps. They’re believed to be heavily armed, and if attacked they’re likely to send a signal out. Granted, the technology isn’t great here, so it’ll take a few minutes for a message to be sent. You’d best destroy the tower before then.

Oh, and before you go… There’s been reports of a military shipment being received down south, looks like a possible supply run to the northern radio station. A convoy alongside the west side of the island is a probable occurrence. It won't happen for some time, and I’ll keep a scout to bring word for when it's moving, if you wish to attack it. Let me reiterate, stealth is optional. You can probably disguise yourself and get away with some things. Our primary goal is to increase our status among the public and to gain supplies, so when you clear towns give me a shout and tag the supplies with spray paint. I’ll send a team to retrieve it.

However you plan to go about it, is entirely up to you. Just bring back some good results eh?
